Hayden Homes Amphitheater, located in Bend Oregon and sitting right in the middle of the city, is so excited to welcome Trampled By Turtles & Shakey Graves to the stage for a one night, once in a lifetime experience right here in the Amphitheater. The West Coast Tour 2025 will only feature nine dates on the run through America, hitting stages like The Sound at Del Mar in California, Pioneer Square in Portland, Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Mountain Winery in Saratoga, and of course - right here in Hayden Homes in Bend.
Trampled By Turtles was created in 2003 over in the Midwest and started as a folk band that was destined to bring some Bluegrass to Minnesota. They love strings and eclectic acoustic arrangements, and more than that - they love talking about their real problems on big stages. The lyrical content of the group ranges from depression to drug induced mania, and they have always been determined to just be themselves - without letting a label or a genre get in the way. They also are one of those rare groups that have charted higher with all their later releases in comparison with their first ones - so, I guess fine wine really does get better with time.
Shakey Graves - despite the name - is actually a one man band, created by Alejandro Garcia who hails from Austin Texas. Before diving deep into music Shakey actually acted a bit as a child, being featured in smash hits like Friday Night Lights and Spy Kids. When he began getting more in touch with the music, he mainly went under the radar for the first few years - but then began to gain major acclaim once his 2011 release of Roll The Bones came around - where people realized he was playing instruments completely solo, and how he began to get eclectic gigs like opening up for Edward Sharpe and becoming an official busker for Mumford and Sons’ 2011 tour. Through it all, Alejandro has always stayed dynamic, energetic, and true to his message - to having a great time in his musical melodies.
